For the most part 2005 was a stable year on the computing platforms.  The great 04 rebuild of my system has been running great, and still looks cool.  I get a lot of comments about it and the only change has been a doubling of the RAM to 2GB and new input devices in the Logitech G15 Keyboard and a Razer Copperhead mouse.  Pick a link on the left to see some pictures of the appropriate system.

In the gaming world, I'm still stuck in World of Warcraft, in a guild called Hand of Fate on the Hellscream server.  I've also played recently Half Life 2 (again), Quake 4, and a few odds and ends.  Cheri has been playing puzzle games mostly.

Dorry's system is currently running an AMD64 3500+ CPU on a gigabyte socket 939 motherboard, 2 GB OCZ EL Platinum DDR 400 memory, twin 160GB  samsung spinpoint sata drives in RAID 0 striped, an overclocked ATI X800 Pro AGP card, and a lot of lights in a custom machined Ferrari case.

Cheri's system is running an AMD Athlon XP2400, 512 MB Geil DDR 400 memory, an ATI 7500 AIW graphics cards and nearly 200GB of IDE hard drives that feed a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum sound card for whole house audio.

The server is built on a KT-333 based system with an AMD Athlon XP 2500, 512 MB DDR-333 Corsair XMS memory, 2 80 GB fujitsu SATA drives and a 50GB IBM Deskstar IDE main drive.  This system currently runs automatic backups of the two primary computers.
